How to buy a spare camera battery (samsung st550)?
I’m going to buy myself a Samsung st550 digital camera and have heard they have a low battery life. Many review sites recommend buying a spare battery for it but how do I do this? Are they able to be purchased with the camera, or do I have to visit a specialist store/site for this? Or are most digital camera batteries able to be alternated between different cameras?
According to the Samsung website the ST550 uses a SLB-07A battery. A quick search at B&H Photo shows http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=SLB-07A&N=0&InitialSearch=yes
Batteries may look the same, but the voltage and contact layout may be different between brands (and even models). I only use the battery style indicated by the manufacturer.
