black friday sales cameras

My card was deactivated and I returned something after, I didnt get the credit? where do i go to get credit?
So I bought a lot of stuff from 3 different stores because it was Black Friday Sale. Visa thought my credit card was stolen and deactivated it. I didn’t know that and I went to back to Circuit City to return two cameras on teh same day and it went through very smoothly. Later that day my credit card got declined when i was trying to buy soemthing, thats how i foind out taht it was deactivated. And the return is not showing up on my online account balance. Circuit city said that there is nothing they can do and visa sent me to my bank, tcf where i got no help….
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP….im out about 340 dollars…
Usually, VISA should be able to link any activity from the old card to the new card. So, if there was a pending credit, it should automatically forward over. I agree with other contributor. The receipt will definitely help you in your case. However, if you do not have it, you have the right to go back to Circuit city and ask them to pull their archive.. If you have the credit card, then go back and give them the number and ask them to pull those records up..
Your bank should be able to tell you if they rejected a credit transaction…. Normally, if the credit does not have a home, it will reject into a file for their analysts to work…
Circuit City will most likely have what they call a back end rejection.. It processes at the store just fine, but will reject on the back end… Thus, the credit refund will be reversed.. Why dont you have the store call their merchant services card division and walk through it with them.. All places who take credit cards have a merchant card processor who handles those credit cards and their processing…
So, this should help..
