What is the best camera to use to film skateboarding?

I am getting a new camcorder and I want to film on go skate day, but I don’t know which camera will be the best to use.

Out of these types:
Mini DV
Hard Drive
High Definition
Point and Shoot

First of all, pretty much every camera out of these groups can be configured to be a point and shoot. I’d say go with high def, if you have a fair amount of money and at least a 2.66 ghz P4 and 1 GB of RAM. Otherwise, if you want something a little cheaper and easier to work with, go with miniDV. Hard drive cams are expensive and relatively low-quality compared to a similarly priced miniDV cam, and with all the action and camera movement involved with skate videos, DV will probably be a little bit more reliable than a hard drive cam. Oh and don’t forget the fisheye! Hope this helps.
