i want a camcorder for my trip to Europe, but i don’t want to spend a lot, any cheap camcorders?

i’m 15 and i’m going to europe to visit family near september. i want to buy a camcorder to take with me to record my trip and my family, but i dont want to spend alot of money on a camcorder that might get lost in luggage or damaged, yet i want one of good quality to last me a couple years until i can update. my spending range would prabably be around $300. any ideas of stores in PA where i could get to easily (i.e. walmart, bestbuy, radioshake) or an online store or shopping network where i wont get ripped off with shipping and handeling?

go to www.mysimon.com and you can price models by store. you can go to best buy, find the model you like, then search my simon for prices…you want to stay away from ebay when it comes to electronics because there aren’t any warranties. also keep in mind that cvs sells little disposable camcorders for like $25. i’m just not sure how long they record. probably like 30 mins or so
