camera aperture mechanism
Eye ball anatomy question?

Determine which organ or cell of the eye is somewhat synonymous with the following camera parts. Give the function of the camera part and that of the eye structure.

A. Film
B. Aperture (f-stop)
C. Shutter
D. Flat Black Interior
E. Lens
F. Zoom mechanism
G. High speed film

A. Film – retina
B. Aperture – iris
C. Shutter – this can be the firing frequency of the optic nerve or can be considered the eye lid depending on who you ask
D. Flat Black Interior – Choroid
E. Lens – Lens
F. Zoom mechanism – ciliary muscle
G. High speed film – rods because they are more sensitive to light. Many people may consider the cones more appropriate because high speed film is color film, but cones are less sensitive to photons so in my humble opinion, what makes film high speed is its high sensitivity to photons.
