Canon camera battery question?
Hi all. I want to get new batteries for my 450D but they are expensive. I’ve seen people selling ones from hong kong and they are much cheaper. Do those work just as well?

This could be the best price on your battery. All batteries are not created equal so guess you will need to check them out. There is not usually a contact problem with this type battery, but all cameras work better when the electrical contacts are really good.
Camera reports batteries low, but is it low charge or bad electrical contacts? Overcharging can ruin good batteries! The secret to making digital cameras work better is having good electrical contacts between batteries and camera. This may not apply to your camera, but think you will find this link very interesting.
