How do I semi-waterproof my Canon EOS 40D SLR?
I’ve seen the Aquapacs, and they’re very nice and all, but they’re quite expensive. I don’t intend to submerge my camera, or even get close to submerging it for that matter, but I’ll be photographing on a cruise ship and on tropical beaches.
I was wondering if there are any ways to make my camera water- and sand-resistant without buying an Aquapac. Thanks!
plastic bags and rubber bands… or you can buy inexpensive rain sleeves from Ritz Camera or other camera supply stores. Optech makes a nice one.
