3.0 megapixel digital video camera /drivers for vista?

hello first time user i have a 3.0 megapixel digital video camera is there a way to put it on vista it does not seem to work cannot find the driver its a new comp and i dont want to wasted money on something i cant use i have vista if there is a way i would love to find out thank you.
