camera flash sound
Why does the flash on a digital camera emit a sound when it goes off?

There are 2-3 different sounds happening when the flash goes off:
* One is the shutter opening/closing
* An artificial sound generated through the camera’s speakers to tell the user that the shot has been taken (coz unlike as in the case of a film camera, u cant really feel when the snap has been taken)
* The sound of discharging of the capacitor used to store the charge to provide for the high illuminating flashbulb. The source of this sound is the same as that during thunder.
