Can you get images from a camera memory card that needs formatting?

Dropped my camera and when i turned it on again it said that i needed to format my memory card to use it again. This however requires the deletion of all my photos.
I’ve tried taking the card out and copying photos to computer but it says i need to format the card before i can open it (same when i used USB connection), which again requires the deletion of photos.

I don’t have any solutions to your problems. But, I can tell you that reformatting will permanently delete any files on the card.
