What are my options for an outside security camera at home?
I’m completely fed up with the delinquent behavior of our neighbors. Drunken party guests running through our yard at 1am, kids shooting bbs at the car, throwing rocks and breaking a windshield and the cursing at us and denying everything when confronted. We’ve called the cops, but the officer didn’t do anything.
What are my options when it comes to installing an outdoor security camera. I don’t have a lot of money (windshields cost a lot to replace) and I can’t afford a service. This would be in the Central Florida area.
Are you asking about “Purchase Options” or “Legal Options”? Do you want wired or wireless? Do you want it to connect to a DVD recorder, VCR or computer? Do you want full size cameras or mini cameras? Do you want to buy locally or online?
You need to go to electronics stores and computer stores or check them online to see whats available in the product selection. Way too many options to list here.
Legally youll have to check ordinances. Where I live home cameras are only allowed to cover my own actual property. I cant set a camera to capture what happens on the public property surrounding my home.
