camera lighting rental

Looking for a quality rental camera.?
I’m going to Marfa, Texas to try and catch a glimpse of the Ghost Lights, and if I see them I really want to take a few good photos. I don’t have the money to afford a really nice camera, so I was wondering if anyone knew a credible website where I could rent a camera that can take quality pictures of such lights, and is relatively cheap, maybe no more than 300$
I’ve looked on the web but I don’t know too much about cameras, and I need one that works really well at night and can take good pictures of lighted objects.
Thanks.
If I had $300 to spend, I’d buy a nice point and shoot. That said, I have to recommend the Canon PowerShot A590 IS. Amazon retails it for about $280. It has one feature that other brands do not, a separate optical viewfinder (the little hole you look through at your subject). LCD viewfinders just don’t work well in broad daylight. If you are going to take pictures outdoors, you should consider getting a camera with an optical viewfinder.

Taking pictures at night usually requires a long shutter speed, which means the camera needs to be very still while the shutter is open, which usually means a tripod, but maybe you can just set the camera on a table and take the picture using the timer.
