Is there PS CS3 support for Cannon 1000D’s RAW format?

Hi, I wanted to take some pictures in RAW format on my Cannon 1000D (.cr2) but I can’t open them in Photoshop CS3! I looked it up and found out that I had to download the latest version of Camera RAW from Adobe but I only found Camera RAW 5.6 for CS4. Even if it works for CS3 aswell it still doesn’t support my camera according to their list!

According to Adobe, Camera Raw 4.6 plugin has an update which supports Canon 1000D and is intended for CS3:
