how to make a miniature video camera?

ok, this sounds crazy, but if you look at it intelligently, those r/c cameras they sell for putting onto remote control planes/helicopters and all that are very small, thus having small parts, which means its probably easy to construct if you know what your doing. im not posting this because im too lazy to go out and buy one, lol, maybe i am, but i think it would be more interesting to ask if anyone has any idea how, because not only would it be cool, as well as a good learning experience, i could make one at my house, so i could do all sorts of stuff. if it could transmit signals wirelessly that would be very good for my purposes, again, if you think of it, there really small… so it can’t be impossible to do!!! plus, any programming put into any chip inside is most likely somewhere on the internet, so that isn’t much of a problem:) for those of you who put up any useful answers, i thank you very much!

Buy one!
The circuits used are so minaturized that you could not do the same job by hand properly (they are asembled by machine for the most part); AND the parts, IF you could find all of them you need, would cost you several times what the camera sells for.
