camera screen protectors
my camera lens is kind of dirty, is there a way i could clean it?

Also my screen is kind of dirty too, is there a way i can clean it and can you get screen protectors for it?
oh yah, its a digital camera so i dont know if that matters or not

I brush any dust etc off the lens with a lens brush, breathe on the lens and then wipe it with a soft, clean handkerchief. I prefer cloth to tissues and, believe it or not, tissue is harder than cloth and can scratch the lens if a bit of grit gets on it.

I always have a Skylight filter on all of my lenses, two reasons: they help to cut out UV radiation and they are a very good protector for the front element of the lens. I also ALWAYS use a lens hood on all lenses, these cut out extraneous light and also protect the front of the lens.

As for the rear screen, very SLIGHTLY dampen a clean hankie, wipe it over the screen to get the marks off and then finish with a dry hankie. You can also buy screen protectors which are clear plastic with adhesive on one side and these stick over the screen. If they get damaged, peel it off and put another on. Most retailers of digital cameras sell them, you can get them on line from many different sellers.
