I need digital movie,sound,stills….What camera should I purchase?

I bought the canon G-3 and it was okay but now the button is sticking and making it hard to use….. canon has no parts and the camera repairmen say it’s computerized and can’t repair that brand.
I’d like a camera with a wide screen so I can see what i’m taking a picture of clearly and I’d really like a camera that doesn’t break so easily….. i’m disgusted with my digital canon.
What do you suggest I purchase ?

The G3 was a fine instrument in its day, but cameras have gotten much better.

There are many fine new digicams out there today, all of which will have bigger LCDs (2.5″ is the norm, some have 3″) and all of which take videos.

Have fun doing the research, reading camera reviews and picking out the new digicam of your dreams. I can’t suggest a particular model as I don’t know your needs and desires.
