Is there a camera store that will buy used lenses?

hi! im looking to sell my nikon 55-200 mm lens. its barely used- maybe once or twice. can i bring it into a store and they can tell me how much theyd give me for it? also how much money would you suggest selling it for? thanks so much!!
thanks! but i dont want to sell it online- id rather have an actual store give me a deal on it and sell it in person

Many stores will let you put it there on consignment – that way it cost them nothing and they give you your money after it is sold. Generally, it has been my experience, they will keep 15% of the price that you agree on for them to sell it for. Specifically, if they sell it for $100, they will give you $85.

I buy and sell used camera equipment all the time and always put it on consignment
