Camera cuts and movement help?

I need help really quick please! I need to know the different types of cuts where the camera moves from one shot to another. I know of fading and a few others but a quick list and descriptions would be great! I would be very greatful! Thanks!

Mix – picture mixes from one frame directly into the first frame of the next shot (slow and a bit messy)

Cut – clean cut from last frame of one shot to first frame of the next (faster paced)

Fade – generally a mix to black and then back up into the next shot (slow, often used to show time passing)

Wipe – picture changes from last frame of old shot to first frame of new one using a literal ‘wipe’ across the screen, sometimes a vertical line that travels left to right, laying the new shot on top of the old. They can get more complicated, with circle and star wipes – or any shape really (a bit cheesy and 80s, not recommended) – some interesting wipes used here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZUbtrZUAY8

Hope that helps! x
