camera types
Are there different types of connections (mount?) from the tripod to the camera?
I have a Canon A520 and I am interested in getting a tripod. I was wondering how to pick a tripod. Would all tripods fit or are there specific types I need to get? I am also interested in getting a DSLR in the future? do DSLR need different tripods than compact digital cameras?
The screw thread on the bottom of cameras are normally standard one size. No you shouldn’t need a different tripod for a DSLR. The only thing i would suggest is for a DSLR something with thicker sturdier legs because they weigh more.
