Can the Nixon and Canon SLR camera lenses interchange?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Well, kinda. Nikon lenses can physically mount on a Canon with an adapter ring. You lose autofocus and, usually, focus confirmation, but they behave like regular lenses.

I don’t know of any adapter that allows you to do the reverse. The difference in flange focal distance between the Nikon and Canon mounts would necessitate the use of corrective optics in any Canon to Nikon adapter. Adapters like this are always expensive and always crummy, and the consensus among photographers seems to be that they just aren’t worth it.

Hope this helps!
