Is the Canon MP480 all in one printer PC compatible?

From the reviews ive read, it seems more aimed at camera printing, so id like to know if anyone owns one, if so, Did it come with a wire to connect to the computer? Is the printer itself good to use? Im asking because its my birthday in 2 days, and as an aspiring artist, i really need a printer and a scanner!

Unfortunately, most printers, scanners, and multi-function devices do NOT normally come with the USB cable that you need to connect it to your PC. This is probably as much to do with manufacturers wishing to offer a cheaper price, thereby undercutting what opposing companies were/are offering.

The cable you would need to connect it to your computer is called a USB-A to USB-B cable. (Most stores would simply shorten that to ‘Printer cable’ as it’s a standard fitting at both ends.)
