control camera online

Where can I find a traditional (manual) 35mm FILM camera?
…a 35mm film camera with aperture (..5,6 8 11 16 22…) and shutter speed (…8 15 30 60 125 250 500….) control. My old Canon TX is shot and I cannot seem to locate a camera/lenses online. I am not interested in SLR.
Your TX is an SLR.
I use Canon FD mount cameras, and in fact own a couple of examples of the TX. Most of the equipment I’ve bought has come from two places-Ebay, and KEH.com.
I don’t recommend Ebay for the faint of heart, as it’s just as easy to get a bargain as it is to get screwed. I’ve bought enough that I can generally separate the two, but not without a few serious mistakes along the way.
KEH is great, though. They’ll be able to supply you with just about anything you want, including another TX if you so desire, and probably at a cost of $30-40. Their prices are very reasonable, and their equipment is graded very conservatively-I never buy anything less than “bargain”, and most of it is better than the “excellent” or “mint” pieces I’ve bought on Ebay.
Since it seems as though you already have Canon FD lenses, I’d suggest replacing with another FD body. You can get another TX, however the FTb is a significant step up in quality and not much more money. The F-1 is even better, as it’s a pro-level camera, which can be had for $100 or just a little under.
