Idunno, the camera is worth a bit less than $500 and a good deal of the stuff they are “throwing in” came in the OEM box with the camera. I’m not exactly sure how they are adding an “extra hot shoe” given that the hot shoe is buit into the camera body. Still, the remote switch, 50-200mm lens, extra battery, battery grip and LowePro bag combined might be worth the extra $300. In any case, I’d strongly recommend handling a similar camera before buying this one.
