Digital camera memory cards?

Aside from size, what makes for a good SD memory card?
The price differences make me wonder, are there brands that are better than others?
So can someone please tell me what to look for to get a quality SD card?

Brand name is important in my opinion. Major companies use better first rate memory, have higher standards, have less power consumption and better reputations.
High speed memory cards become more important ONLY if the camera that you use it in can access it at that speed.. For example if a memory card can write at 66X and your camera can only write at 33X it woud be a waste of money. If you have performance camera and you are doing continous shooting its REAL IMPORTANT or if you a writing 12 Mega pixel pictures and don’t want to wait a long time while it writes to take another one.
