digital camera newsletter

Help me find a digital camera?
I work in the marketing dept. for a worldwide GPS company – most of our products are used across the world. I’m responsible for many things, mostly centered around taking pictures for our four bi-weekly newsletters.
Sometimes these pictures need to be taken in low light, other times they need to upclose and detailed. It all depends on the job.
Our old, 2001 camera is showing its age – the quality of pictures is seriously lacking. We have a budget between $100-$200, but I don’t even know where I start.
I’ve researched on many sites, but I can’t seem to find a clear answer on which camera would be best for us – they are either too expensive or aren’t very good with the detail (flash gets in the way or flash can’t be set).
Help?!
I believe the Canon PowerShot A570 IS is in that range, and I think it has the best features for the price,
It has the IS (image stabilizer)
It has a 4x optical zoom, which is good for this price range
(ignore digital zoom, it means nothing)
7.1 Megapixels
Has Video
2.5 LCD
It has an optical viewfinder, which a lot of cameras don’t have anymore, I like them because sometimes it is hard to use the LCD on the back, when you’re out side, or in bright light.
