Is 320×240 video resolution fine for someone who wants to record some vacation shots ?

I just bought a Sanyo VPC-E890 digital camera today for a vacation coming up in a week. In Video mode it offers two options for resolution: 640×480 and 320×240. If I am looking for a generally decent shot where I can film moments with my family for memory purposes only, is 320×240 good enough? ( I chose this one so far because it gives me more recording time on my 2gb SD card
