I’m looking for an inexpensive, but still good quality, digital camera?

I need to begin building a portfolio, but I am tech challenged and shopping on my own has confused me. Please explain megapixels, optical image stabilizer, optical zoom etc. etc. and whether or not those things are necessary or are merely extras. I’d rather not spend more that $80.00.

Wow……. $80………..try multiplying 10 to get something more decent. For that kind of money, you’ll be lucky to get a real optical zoom- it doesn’t come with image stabilization and 5 megapixels should be the most you would expect.
