I forgot to put batteries in my SLR manual camera but used up my film. Are the pictures still on the film?

Or do I have to put in the batteries and start over? D:
Yeah it’s totally manual, I have to set the aperture and everything. The model is Nikon FG-20 I think. It’s like 30 years old.

yes there should be images on the film

batteries generally operate the light meter in slr cameras, the capture of the image doesnt require batteries
