You have a couple options. You can manually tag them on your computer. Or you can buy a camera that does it for you, but most of the ones that do it well are pretty expensive. Based on the linked article “How to Geo-Tag Photos – GPS Jottings” you are looking at a Nikon D200, Canon EOS 1D Mark III, the Fuji S5, Kodak’s DC265 and DC290, and the Ricoh 500SE. Note: the Apple iPhone will geotag your photos, but it does not have a GPS unit. It triangulates your position based on the relative strengths of cell towers. If you are somewhere where there are no cell towers it can’t figure out where you are.

With some of the models listed you still need an external GPS unit that can connect with your camera. Some cameras will work with a bluetooth connection and others need a special cable (like the D200). Make sure you know what your model uses. Cameras that work with the external GPS will be less flaky, but of course there is more gear.

Check out the linked articles to see how to add the geotag information to your pictures after the fact. If you embed the geo-tag information inside the EXIF data, many programs can use that information. NOTE: some services like Flickr will read the EXIF data and automatically generate the Flickr geotags from your EXΙF info.
