Will I be accepted into Kean University?
Hi,
I’m a Junior and am ready to look at colleges. I have around a 3.1 GPA but my PSAT scores are rather poor. I had a 1260, without writing I think. I took my ACT’s and bombed them as well (a 16). I am taking my SAT’s Saturday for the first time, which I don’t expect to do well on.
*I am in Photography club, The school Newspaper, Student Council, and I played tennis freshmen year. I also work part time.
My major will be criminal justice, with a minor in history. After four years of college I plan on going to Rutgers Law School.

Rowan University
Rutgers University –My sister currently attends this school. My mom got her masters here, and my dad went here.

Are there any other colleges you would recommend for criminal justice?
If you’re talking about Kean University in NJ, then you’ll more than likely get in. The acceptance rate is more than 50% and your grades look good enough for these types of schools. 35% of the students there have a 2.5 GPA. The scores for SATs are average and not too competitive. You have nothing to worry about. This school will have a lot of students similar to yourself. Look at the college board website for more info. (www.collegeboard.com). With Rutgers, I GUARANTEE you’ll get in. From the looks of what schools you’re picking, I assume you’re an NJ resident. I’m from NJ, too. Rutgers is a state school and accepts the majority of the people applying from NJ. Its not too hard to get into Rutgers. Rowan is another average student type school. You most likely won’t get into University of Pennsylvania. You should be an A student with honors/AP classes to get into UPenn. UPenn is ivy league (like Harvard, Yale, Brown etc). It only admits the smartest of the smart. If you want to go to Pennsylvania, you should try Penn State. Good luck!
