ip camera viewing software
Where to begin?
I have a Speco Tech DVR 4X/ip camera system….I downloaded the remote view software, but now I need to know how to configure my router for remote viewing….I went to whatismyip.com and got my outside Ip address, but when I try to connect…it wont let me…any suggestions will be greatly appreciated…

You probably need to enable port forwarding to the camera. Don’t know what kind of router you have, so I can’t go into detail, so if you go to the company’s website, they probably have something in their online documentation. Also keep in mind that some ISPs will switch your IP address every once in a while.
