Can i use my iphone sim in another phone?

Im selling my iphone 3gs 16gb as i recently got it as upgrade and to be honest it lacks basics, bluetooth only between iphones, mms sucks as you have tot have 3g signal which is rare, its too choked buy apps that you cant do alot with it unless its app orientated, no flash on camera, etc etc.
Anyway im getting a nokia n900 and was just wondering if my orange sim will be ok in it??
I have dolphin 45 so unlim internet and wifi, texts and 1200 minutes.
Im curious though as to what happens regarding app store, will my details be left on the iphone or will they remain on my sim memory? Thanks

Just copy all the contacts to SIM and delete everything from the iPhone before selling it. Once you’ve copied the contacts to the SIM, you can then put it in N900 and copy the contacts to the phone. I think Nokia N900 is simply awesome and it has all the features you will ever need. You can use the phone with your current Orange plan.
