Broken Digital camera,no receipt but still under warranty?
hey,
I’ve got an olympus fe-320 that i got for a present last November,
recently, due to carelessness on my own behalf, it’s got a couple of things wrong with it, for example: the sensor’s pretty damaged and the lens too ……..keep your camera in its case kids!
anyyyway, i was just wondering without the receipt can i send it away to be repaired while it’s still under warranty?
and if so where do i send it?
i cant bring it back to where it was bought because i live in ireland and it was bought in China!

Several problems here. Firstly the obvious one, warranty is not insurance, it does not cover misuse or abuse. The second issue is that often a product that is of Asian origin and purchased in an Asian country is not covered by the local agents for that particular brand. It is something to always be aware of when considering a low cost Asian purchase.
