photography composition basics
photographer basics?? what is it mean by composition, photographic technic, and the meaning of that picture?

i just got a letter for special exam entering the photographer gred b17 government , i need to know what is it mean by composition? photography technic, and how is the picture ‘mean’ ?? arghhh somebody help me please…

Interesting that you got the letter even though you are not a photographer.

There are three important skills one needs to be a photographer.

Technical — being able to use any camera, any where at any time.

Creative — knowing how to compose the elements of a photograph that will attract the targeted viewers.

Business — being able to market the imagery produced by the tools the photographer has.

The technical aspect usually takes at least two years of formal education, about five years working as a staff photographer or assistant to hone all the skills acquired while in school and continuing education as technology grows.

Here is a link to the basics of composition: http://photoinf.com/General/Robert_Berdan/Composition_and_the_Elements_of_Visual_Design.htm

The rest takes time and focus on your career.
