I am desperate to learn absolutely everything. I’m young and don’t know where to start. What do I do?

I love, love, love to read. I like to be busy. I absolutely hate having free time on my hands, where I am tempted to log onto the computer. I don’t watch TV anymore because everything is either too kiddish or too mature (and will ruin my young mind). I want to be busy every day, but money is lacking in this horrible economy and I feel like my life is being ruined. Its short and I am only 13 so I can’t do much on my own or drive anywhere. I love books, music, and history. What do I do with my life. On weekends, I’m on the computer the whole time. I can’t even take piano or photography lessons because money is so bad. How do I learn things and make plans when 1. I don’t like to “hang out” with my friends. and 2. I can’t get out in the world and learn things. Help! Seriously, I feel so insignificant right now. (sorry for the complaining, but honestly!) Thanks a bunch everyone who helps me out.

Respect your maturity by, making use of it. Like another person said, go to a museum. If you can’t do that, go to the library and, read everything you can.

You are just like the robot in the movies’ ‘Short Circuit’ and, ‘Short Circuit 2′, who keeps wanting more ‘input’(reading anything and, everything). The robot makes an absolute mess of the shelves in the library by, reading books with lightening speed then, throwing the books on the floor when it is done.
