photography themes
Need ideas for ART MAJOR BODY OF WORK for year 12.. Photography and light—need themes, plot and ideas!?
okay, so i am doing a major BOW (body of work) for art in year 12. I have chosen the medium of photography. I am doing ‘light scribbling’ as shown in this link http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/danboy04/11266_1281809208648_1332619772_8250.jpg
NOW, what i need help with is a central idea to use throughout the work. Im thinking of doing this in animation form and would need a plot and theme to go with it, but im still contemplating just photos… either way, i need ideas! 
So yeah, the main thing is i need a theme to carry throughout it (example is the effect of technology on todays society)<--- i cant use that though because it was used last year, but that kind of thing! thanks all!
Why does the theme have to be about subject-matter? Everything that could be photographed HAS been photographed, and (no offense), the world doesn’t need half-baked ideas on sociology. The work can say something about photography, itself — for instance, abstract vs. representational; two vs. three-dimensions, or why the “frame” always has to be a rectangle. Or perhaps ideas of time in photography. Forget puppys vs. kittens — think about the medium and what it’s capable (or incapable) of.
