What makes a DSLR camera so great?
What’s so special?
What makes them different from a point-and-shoot?
Are they really worth all the extra mulah?
Do they make photography, not just taking fun vacation shots, easier, better, more of an art?
The ability to change lenses, reduced (virtually non-existent) shutter lag, lower noise, often better options of off camera flash, often better speed, better ergonomics, often more control over shooting parameters, ability to upgrade body relatively inexpensively while keeping expensive lenses, etc make DSLRs worth the money in my opinion.
