problem with my polaroid t730 digital camera?

whenever i plug the charger cable into the camera to charge it, the light becomes red when it’s supposed to be green. since the light is red, it doesn’t charge my camera so the battery runs out very quickly. this has been happening everytime i try to charge it. also, i tried pushing the cable into the usb port more and the light went from red to green. however, i can’t keep pushing the cable in and sit there for a couple of hours. why does the light keep turning red and not green? what should i do?

if you have a warranty on it you should take it back.
and get a new one.
or you could call the company and ask what to do.
they will most likely know.
