choosing a digital camera?

On ebay.in I found a camera which I liked (Sony DSC W110). But there is a vast difference in selling prices of different sellers. One seller is selling @6000/- and claimed as new, whereas others are selling in the range of 7000 – 8000 Indian Rupee. Do somebody have online shopping experience in this kind of thing? What should I do?

Stay away from buying electronics on ebay. It’s not worth the risk.
I got screwed on two occasions, thankfully they were $25 and 35 cameras and I knew how to fix them on my own (though I spent hours fiddling with both before getting them to work properly). Both were older cameras but advertised as never used/mint and used only once/mint. Both showed up with obvious signs of usage, neither matched the photos on ebay, both came from supposedly very reputable sellers (tons of great reviews, almost nothing in terms of negatives).
I’ve heard of some serious horror stories involving alot more than 60 bucks.
