Sony VAIO Camera Capture Utility Locks Up Computer?
I’m using a Sony VAIO laptop with Vista. Every time I try to run the Camera Capture Utility, the computer locks up and I’m forced to restart the machine.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I’d really enjoy using what I paid for.

Sounds like you have an incompatible software package. You must ensure your camera and the software you use with it are Vista Certified. Otherwise you will never fix this problem. The other reason for this to happen is that you do not have enough RAM on your system and Vista is utilizing the little you have for its own computation. If this could be the problem try to increase the size of your swap file to see if it can handle it.
The third major reason for this to happen is that you installed Vista on an old machine and now you have very little resources to work with since they are over-used by this crappy operating system.
