Trivia: What movie was it?

I saw a small part of it in 2005 or 2006 when I was stationed in Iraq. Coincidentally, the movie was about an American soldier in the current Iraq war. But unlike me, the soldier was not a combat soldier. In the clip that I saw, the dumbass decides to pull out the tripod and camera and start doing a video diary. And then, something totally not unexpected occurs… a van pulls up and two individuals snatch him. I’ve been wanting to watch the whole film and see how it turns out. Thanks in advance for your answers people =)

I don’t remember the tripod, but it sounds a little like “A Message From Fallujah” (2005).
